After graciously serving Memphis dental patients since 2002, Dr. Veena Ammal opened her own state-of-the-art dental office in Cordova in 2012.
Conveniently located in the Trinity Commons Shopping Center, Dr. Ammal’s office offers you the very latest digital dental technologies for fast, efficient and comfortable care.
Professionally, Dr. Ammal is an honors graduate of the prestigious New York University Dental School, consistently ranked one of the top dental schools in the country.
She is a member of the American Dental Association® and the Memphis Dental Association.
Dr. Ammal is also an active and caring member of the Memphis community. She enjoys volunteering her time in the Mid-South Mission of Mercy Dental Clinic held annually for under-served and under-insured people living in Memphis and the surrounding Mid-South area. She volunteers her service at the local food bank and believes in educating students at the surrounding local schools.
Dr. Ammal loves spending time with her family and friends when she is not at her office. She has two young boys and a husband. She is an avid gardener. She enjoys tending to her flowerbeds and vegetable garden, which relaxes her a lot. She relishes the idea of growing her own vegetables. She also enjoys spending time with her dog, Ruby.

Kimberly has been working in the dental field since 1999. Kim is the first person who will meet and greet you with a smile when you walk in the door. She is our appointment scheduler, insurance handler, treatment coordinator and billing specialist. Kim will help you schedule your appointment for the day and time that meets your needs as well as help you with a payment plan that will be affordable for you and your family.
She lives by the practice of saying, “I like to treat others like I would want to be treated.” She has a very calming demeanor that puts patients at ease. She is very knowledgeable and experienced and willing to go the extra mile in making sure her patients are well taken care of.
When she is not taking care of her patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, making jewelry and creating new scents for her line of soy candles.
